As of November 21, 2021, 89 volunteers have contributed 9398 hours of service, knitting a total of 1485 items:

165 red scarves for Foster Care to Success' Red Scarf Project

69 baby afghans, 171 baby afghan squares, 269 baby hats, 6 baby headbands, 26 baby bibs, 3 pairs of baby mittens, 5 baby dresses, 44 baby sweaters, 8 baby lovey dolls, 48 pairs of baby booties, 2 pairs of baby socks, and 1 baby washcloth for Newborns In Need of Eastern Missouri

314 hats, 13 pairs of gloves, 2 handwarmers, 5 pairs of slippers, 2 pairs of socks, 50 headbands, 31 cowls, 6 ponchos/shawls, 1 potholder/coaster, 7 dishcloths/scrubbers, 3 blankets, 1 throw pillow, and 215 scarves for HavenHouse St. Louis

UPCOMING MEETINGS

The Kirkwood Public Library has cancelled all in-person youth library programs until further notice due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and our March, April, and May 2020 meetings at the library were cancelled.

Meetings are currently being held via the Zoom platform.

Sunday October 21st Meeting!

We had a wonderful meeting this afternoon! Two new members started knitting with the group, and one member was very excited to finish her first item-- a baby bootie!  Members donated completed items for HavenHouse St. Louis, Foster Care to Success's Red Scarf Project, and Newborns in Need of Eastern Missouri.  In addition, we hit an exciting milestone this afternoon-- our members have now knitted over 800 items, with 63 volunteers contributing over 5400 hours of community service since this group began in January 2015!  Great work, everyone-- keep on knitting!
