69 baby afghans, 171 baby afghan squares, 269 baby hats, 6 baby headbands, 26 baby bibs, 3 pairs of baby mittens, 5 baby dresses, 44 baby sweaters, 8 baby lovey dolls, 48 pairs of baby booties, 2 pairs of baby socks, and 1 baby washcloth for Newborns In Need of Eastern Missouri

314 hats, 13 pairs of gloves, 2 handwarmers, 5 pairs of slippers, 2 pairs of socks, 50 headbands, 31 cowls, 6 ponchos/shawls, 1 potholder/coaster, 7 dishcloths/scrubbers, 3 blankets, 1 throw pillow, and 215 scarves for HavenHouse St. Louis

UPCOMING MEETINGS

The Kirkwood Public Library has cancelled all in-person youth library programs until further notice due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and our March, April, and May 2020 meetings at the library were cancelled.

Meetings are currently being held via the Zoom platform.

March 12, 2017 meeting!

We had a great meeting today! Two more baby items for Newborns in Need of Eastern Missouri were donated-- thank you, Yun Ju for knitting the colorful baby afghan and the cute baby dress. LaDonna and Joanne worked on piecing together some baby afghan squares and figuring out what complementary colors to include in the finished blanket. Other members continued working on their projects.

March 4th donation to Newborns in Need of Eastern Missouri

We donated 1 baby afghan, 10 baby hats, 2 sweaters, and 1 bib  to Newborns in Need of Eastern Missouri (NIN) today. Thank you to Joanne M, Joanne S, Marilyn, and May for creating these beautiful items!  Our NIN challenge continues-- please keep knitting items for the babies.  Let us know if you need yarn or patterns.

Wednesday March 1st, 2017 Meeting!

We had a nice meeting tonight! Members practiced new stitches and techniques, and several members donated items. Keep up the great work and remember that the Newborns in Need Challenge is still going on!!!
