As of November 21, 2021, 89 volunteers have contributed 9398 hours of service, knitting a total of 1485 items:

165 red scarves for Foster Care to Success' Red Scarf Project

69 baby afghans, 171 baby afghan squares, 269 baby hats, 6 baby headbands, 26 baby bibs, 3 pairs of baby mittens, 5 baby dresses, 44 baby sweaters, 8 baby lovey dolls, 48 pairs of baby booties, 2 pairs of baby socks, and 1 baby washcloth for Newborns In Need of Eastern Missouri

314 hats, 13 pairs of gloves, 2 handwarmers, 5 pairs of slippers, 2 pairs of socks, 50 headbands, 31 cowls, 6 ponchos/shawls, 1 potholder/coaster, 7 dishcloths/scrubbers, 3 blankets, 1 throw pillow, and 215 scarves for HavenHouse St. Louis

UPCOMING MEETINGS

The Kirkwood Public Library has cancelled all in-person youth library programs until further notice due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and our March, April, and May 2020 meetings at the library were cancelled.

Meetings are currently being held via the Zoom platform.

Sunday January 28th meeting!

We had a fantastic meeting this afternoon! We welcomed four new knitters, who got started knitting with the help of several adult volunteers.

Heather Libhart, volunteer manager at HavenHouse St. Louis, came to today's meeting to tell us about HavenHouse's mission, and we donated over 60 knitted items to Heather.  Many thanks to Abby, Annie, Bella, Carolyn, Diya, Eden, Isabel, Joanne M, Maddie, Marge, May, Mimi, Ovya, Rita, and Stephanie for knitting these warm winter items. We know that they will be appreciated by HavenHouse St. Louis guests!

Shout out to Abby, Bella, and Ovya, for their knitted baby items for Newborns in Need of Eastern Missouri!
